Members of the Crop Share Co-op are supporting small and startup farms by purchasing shares of crops before they are grown. As a shareholder, you are entitled to updates about the growing process and a portion of the crop if it is successful.

As a co-owner of the cooperative, you are responsible for maintaining respectful decorum, being mindful of your use of resources of the cooperative, including the time and attention of staff members, and participating in the democratic process in good faith. Please review our Community Agreements for details on member expectations and our conflict resolution process.

Much like contributing to a crowdfunded project, there is some risk involved. The project may have delays or failures and rewards may not be delivered. It may also be more successful than projected and you may receive more of something than you know what to do with. The uncertainty is part of the fun, embrace it!

Contributors are responsible for researching the growers and projects to which they are contributing. The Crop Share Co-op platform requires a detailed growing plan, which is shared with members before shares are sold. Growers are required to post weekly updates and report accurate results. Shareholders may leave reviews. Please research previous offerings and reviews of a grower before contributing.

The Crop Share Co-op is not responsible for a failure to deliver goods. However we will suspend or expel growers who are found to be acting in bad faith. Please try to resolve conflicts directly with your grower before contacting Crop Share Co-op customer service. Our customer service is available to help if the issue cannot be resolved directly.

The method of delivery is up to each grower. Please make note of the delivery method and only purchase shares if that delivery method is acceptable to you.

Please pay attention to the portion of the crop which is being offered. Some may specify a percentage and others may project an estimated weight or quantity. Delivering exact quantities is not required and you may receive more or less than you were expecting.

Thank you for contributing to community supported agriculture!
